From farm to school: This year, Auburn, East, Guilford, & Jefferson will serve fresh and regionally-grown menu items from The Common Market. They work with farmers from across the area. Between August 20th to mid-September, we’re featuring Olden Organics from Ripon, Wisconsin. They’re providing broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, watermelon & cantaloupe for our students!

Due to new FAA rules & light pole damage, night games at Auburn's Wyeth Stadium will be moved or rescheduled. Day games continue as planned. Check Auburn & Jefferson athletic sites for updates. Guilford's Swanson Stadium remains open for student athletes.

The first day of school for K-12 is Thursday, August 14. It's a late start day for middle & high schools. Early Childhood starts Monday, August 18. Here are the start & dismissal times for each school. Questions? Call your school’s main office.

Screw City Steel has a new home at RPS 205! The Rockford Area Arts Council gifted the mural-covered steel doors to Auburn, East, Guilford & Jefferson High Schools. Honoring Rockford’s industrial roots, these doors now stand as symbols of pride, creativity & belonging.

Janardie finished 3rd in the 110M hurdles final at Eastern Illinois this afternoon, setting a school and personal record with at time of 13.94. Soon he'll run the 300M hurdles final! Thanks to Bruyn Yunk for the photo.

Jefferson sophomore hurdler Janardie Turner just broke the school record with a time of 14.09 seconds at the state prelims to qualify for the final 110M race tomorrow!
